AAFRICAA: Meet The Makers Series

When AAFRICAA approached us, they had a clear mission: to breathe life into their products by telling the stories of the people who make them. As a design and retail emporium rooted in African creativity, they had built a powerful network of artisans and suppliers. But the human stories—the hands, faces, and traditions behind the craft remained largely untold. We set out to change that with Meet The Makers, a documentary series that brings these stories to the forefront. Through intimate visuals and grounded storytelling, we followed each artisan’s journey, tracing the cultural roots and creative process behind their work. Designed within an education-led content funnel, the series was built to do more than inform. It builds trust, creates connection, and moves people to act - whether that’s watching, sharing, or buying. More than a campaign, Meet The Makers frames AAFRICAA not just as a marketplace, but as a global voice for African design and the people who shape it.
